Cookie Policy
This Cookie Policy explains how Spyvero uses cookies, local storage, pixels, SDKs, and similar technologies when you visit our website, create an account, use the application, contact support, or complete a payment flow.
"Spyvero," "we," "us," and "our" refer to the operator of the Service. This policy should be read together with our Privacy Policy, Terms of Service, and Refund Policy.
1. What Cookies Are
Cookies are small files stored on your browser or device. Similar technologies can include local storage, session storage, SDK identifiers, pixels, and server logs. They help us keep the Service secure, remember application state, run checkout, support users, diagnose errors, and understand whether the product is working.
2. Cookies and Technologies We Use
Strictly necessary cookies
These are required for the Service to work. They may be set by Spyvero or by providers that help us operate authentication, security, infrastructure, or checkout.
Examples include:
- Auth.js/NextAuth cookies used for sign-in, session management, CSRF protection, callback handling, and secure authentication flows.
- Spyvero application session cookies, including the app session used to remember workflow state such as the active organization.
- Security, load-balancing, request, and infrastructure cookies set by hosting, database, or edge providers.
- Cookies or storage used to remember interface state, such as sidebar expansion.
- Paddle checkout and customer-portal cookies that are needed to process subscriptions, credit purchases, invoices, taxes, fraud checks, and billing support.
You can block these cookies in your browser, but sign-in, billing, account security, and core application features may stop working.
Functional and support cookies
When support chat is enabled, Spyvero uses Crisp to provide in-app or website support. Crisp may set cookies or use similar technologies to keep a support conversation open, identify a signed-in user, remember chat state, and route messages. If you are signed in, we may pass your email address, name, and basic account information to Crisp so support can help you.
Analytics, diagnostics, and error monitoring
Spyvero may use product analytics, server logs, and diagnostic tools to understand usage, detect abuse, debug errors, and improve reliability. When configured, Sentry may collect error, performance, device, browser, request, and session details. These technologies may use cookies or similar identifiers, but their purpose is operational diagnostics rather than selling advertising profiles.
Payment-related technologies
Spyvero uses Paddle for supported subscription and credit checkout flows. Paddle may set cookies or use similar technologies for checkout sessions, payment method handling, taxes, invoices, fraud prevention, compliance, customer portal access, and dispute handling. Paddle processes payment information under its own terms and privacy policy.
Marketing cookies
Spyvero does not currently rely on a separate third-party advertising cookie stack to sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. If we add advertising or retargeting technologies later, we will update this policy and provide any required choices.
3. Why We Use Cookies
We use cookies and similar technologies to:
- Keep you signed in and protect authentication flows.
- Remember application state and preferences.
- Route you through Paddle checkout and customer-portal flows.
- Provide support chat and remember support conversations.
- Secure the Service, prevent abuse, and investigate suspicious activity.
- Measure product reliability, diagnose errors, and improve performance.
- Maintain legal, billing, tax, and audit records where required.
4. Third-Party Providers
Cookies and similar technologies may be set by providers that support Spyvero, including authentication providers such as Google, Paddle for payments, Crisp for support chat when configured, Sentry for diagnostics when configured, and hosting, database, email, storage, or infrastructure providers.
Third-party providers process information under their own terms and privacy policies. We do not control cookies set by third-party websites or services you visit through links, payment portals, advertiser pages, public ad libraries, or external resources.
5. Managing Cookies
Most browsers let you block, delete, or limit cookies. Browser controls vary by provider and device. If you block necessary cookies, you may be unable to sign in, run audits, manage an organization, buy credits, open Paddle checkout, access support chat, or use other parts of the Service.
Where legally required and technically available, we will provide additional cookie choices for non-essential technologies. You can also contact us to ask about current cookie practices.
6. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "last updated" date above. Changes are effective when posted unless a later date is stated.
